Pocket Change: ROI and Metrics of Mobile Marketing (audio seminar)

Presented By:
Christopher Carfi

Mobile marketing provides the opportunity for markets to form around customers, instead of around vendors. It’s creating relationships that are more personal than the results of traditional marketing activities. What’s important is to not re-invent what we did in other media (e.g. interruptive marketing) and move it to new ones (e.g. "let's send an interruptive text message"). Success in mobile marketing will be determined by how well marketers understand the opportunities of this new platform with respect to capabilities such as location-awareness.hat about metrics to measure these marketing strategies?

During this presentation, Chris Carfi examines what mobile marketing interaction looks like from the customer's point of view, vs. the vendor's. Carfi will address the issues of:

  • Research vs. Market
  • Shop vs. Sell
  • Get Support vs. Support

And with the mainstreaming of Social Media, we must add 2 more components: Connect and Converse. It’s a customer-driven world we live in today. Vendors who embrace this will emerge on top. It’s a win/win.

Intended Audience and Level of Understanding:

This seminar is intended for today’s marketing professional faced with an explosion of new marketing channels and responsibility for delivering bottom line business results across multiple channels.
